“Zach of All Trades”
Hey there! I’m an Austin-based photographer and filmmaker from New York, and I’m truly passionate about the craft of capturing light and transforming it into timeless art. Though I’ve been a lover of film for most of my life, and I’m an actor myself, it was in my world travels that I fell in love with photography and its core principles.
I’ve always loved spending time in nature, so my journey into landscape photography was inevitable. I became particularly fixated on the art of panoramic photography when I found that it allowed me to create a new perspective that, in some cases, stretched beyond what any pair of eyes could see on their own. I hope my panoramic landscape photos might inspire you to go off on your own adventures — and perhaps, if you decide to hang one of my prints in your home, you’ll feel like you’re on an adventure when you glance at it.

I spent my first 10 years out of college working in the news, first for a local newspaper in central New York, where I wrote features and took photos. I later worked for a news wire service here in NYC, where I was thrown into action as a videographer. I got serious about editing shortly thereafter.
I’m obsessed with color. This bleeds into my work as a cinematographer, in addition to my nature photography. When it comes to the editing process, I have a passion for digging deep and squeezing every possible ounce of color into that image. All the better to hold our audience in the moment.
